The Great British Baking Show: Signature British Baking with Charlotte Fairlie

 The Great British Baking Show, which airs on Iowa Public Television (IPTV), has been taking America by storm. Amateur bakers compete to make the best cakes and pastries, many rooted in Britain’s rich baking tradition. Without the competition – but with all of the authenticity and skill – British ex-pat Charlotte Fairlie will demonstrate how to bake the goods for a “proper British tea.” Join her to learn a few of her favorite simple recipes like Gingernuts, Bakewell Tarts (featuring jams and almonds), Sausage Rolls (featuring New Pi’s butchers’ house-made bangers), and Cornish cream tea.
