About
From the founders of Mission Creek Festival and Brink, we present Day Party: a one-day, intimate arts experience rooted in food, literature, and music. Day Party embodies the magic of finding new art, friends, and community during the expansive daylight hours of a late-spring weekend. Equal parts wit and grit, we are a gathering place for local and Midwestern creativity. The event runs from early afternoon to early evening; there will be live music, readings & conversations, and a range of food experiences from local chefs. The festivities take place in a creative nook on Iowa City's southside, hosted at emerging and iconic spaces: Little Village, Plated Table, Trumpet Blossom Cafe, and Public Space One.
