Top Chef: Downtown 2019

The Iowa City Downtown District is excited to announce the return of Top Chef: Downtown for its 9th year. This widely well-received event showcases the culinary creativity and artistic cocktails of our Downtown District restaurants. The event is set for Monday, February 25th, from 5:00 PM-8:00pm at Graduate Iowa City and is sponsored by Hills Bank and Trust Company and U.S. Foods.
Downtown and Northside Marketplace restaurants prepare signature dishes from some of the area's favorite restaurants, while area mixologists and baristas craft exquisite cocktails and coffee beverages. The title "Top Chef" is awarded by a panel of culinary experts and all guests can weigh in to determine the People's Choice winner.
This year, Top Chef is partnering with The Englert Theatre and FilmScene to help enhance the vibe of the room with a new FilmScene lounge where we will have Englert staff DJ a premiere playlist of tunes with a backdrop of film. Should be super cool.
The Graduate Hotel will also be a new location for the event, allowing us a refreshed layout to the event. It will be awesome.
