Dinner in a Flash! Instant Pot 101 at New Pi Coralville
Tue, May 21 from 6pm - 7:30pm
Pre-registration is required.
Cooking healthy meals on busy weeknights can be hard! While it is a big time-saver, the Instant Pot can be intimidating for many! It doesn’t have to be. Demystify fear and embrace time-saving tricks with Lindsy Trotter, owner of Chilled—a freezer meals service, as she shares some real time-saving tips for weeknight cooking in the Instant Pot. She will demonstrate how to prep the Instant Pot correctly for use with the 5-minute water test. Then, she will walk participants through the preparation of three delicious and easy weeknight meals: Mexican Chicken Soup, Mexican Quinoa, and South of the Border Chicken Fajitas. Each meal is Whole 30 friendly, and each meal can be ready in under 20 minutes, including prep time! Come hungry with an appetite to learn and to taste the rewards of cooking healthy in a flash.
Participants will have the option of helping assemble meals in class, will receive recipes to take with them, will receive a $5 coupon to help load-up on fresh ingredients after the show, and will taste some special samples from Lindsy’s business. Tickets are available here. Chilled can be found at https://www.chilledcenterpoint.com
This class is offered in Corlaville. It will also be offered in the New Pioneer Co-op in Cedar Rapids on May 22nd.
